Since getting The Hunger Games soundtrack, I always thought of the song Kingdom Come to be the song for Katniss and Gale. I still really do, but last night I was listening to other songs by The Civil Wars and it hit me.

The song Poison & Wine fits them to a tee! So everthorne fans, if you want a good cry, listen to this song with them in mind. (I didn’t watch this music video, just listened to the lyrics.)

So basically, the Hunger Games fandom hates me.

Not the people. The actual fandom.

I really wanted this to work for my Katniss account, too. I’m kinda bummed.

It was a beautiful spring morning and I took all the time in the world on my hunt. It was easy pickings as it seemed that I wasn’t the only one who wanted to soak up the sun. Not even Gale’s absence could dampen my mood. Though really, I was completely surprised when he didn’t show up. It just wasn’t like him. Though with the perfect weather, mild temperature and slight breeze, I couldn’t stay mad for long. As I made my way back into town, I decided to stop by his place. Partly, because I wanted to be sure he was alright. Mostly, because I wanted to gloat about all the game I caught without his help.
