oh thank god, JFav was there. Like…I was almost concerned that he wasn’t. YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THE DEPTH OF MY LOVE FOR THEIR BROMANCE.

So I went to the L.A. Film Festival today to see Iron Man and Iron Man 2 in the theater. To start it off, there was an interview by Jack Kirby’s son and old assistant. Then they showed a never before seen Captain America trailer that looked AMAZING!! I was blown away and am even more excited for this movie, if that’s even possible. The screenwriters for Cap even talked a bit about it and it all sounds good.
After Iron Man played, Jon Favreau came out to talk with the guy running the show and it was really interesting hearing him talk about the movie. At one point, he stopped in the middle of a story about Robert Downey, Jr. and asked if he could call Robert to get the details right. He was calling, but got no signal and suddenly we hear at the top of the theater, someone yell out, “Are you trying to call me?!” Yea, Robert Downey, jr. showed up looking just like Tony Stark, himself! They were interviewed and were as enchanting as ever and took some audience questions.
Then we got to see a 9 minute Cowboys & Aliens preview that looked absolutely kick ass! It was an amazing night all around! I will post the few pics I took of Robert and Jon, but they’re really crappy quality.
