We already do know that Maria will be in Avengers and that Pepper will not. I have no idea how you think this will mess up T/P, though. Tony and Maria were never a thing in the comics. They had sex once, but they can’t stand each other. So really, there’s no evidence at all suggesting that there will be a thing there.

Also, look at it from the filmmaking stand point. There’s already WAY too much shit they’re trying to pack in that movie. I highly doubt that they’d spend the extra time to set up a new romance when they already have audiences hooked on Tony and Pepper. It’s screen writing 101.

And I’m sorry, but after Natashalie? Um….What?! Nothing even happened there! They cut out just about anything that would make for a love triangle. There was nothing even a little bit to suggest them as a canon pairing in that movie. If anything, she spurred on T/P by making that funny honeymoon quip.

There’s hardly any news out about Tony and Pepper, so I think you need to just cool your jets and stop posting this crazy conspiracy theory on every community under sockpuppet names. This is fandom, it’s supposed to be fun.
