Things are great! Work is awesome, I’m loving archery and I o hiking every weekend! I just did my Hunger Games and Black Widow shoots so now I can start working on my Mockingjay uniform!

Since getting The Hunger Games soundtrack, I always thought of the song Kingdom Come to be the song for Katniss and Gale. I still really do, but last night I was listening to other songs by The Civil Wars and it hit me.

The song Poison & Wine fits them to a tee! So everthorne fans, if you want a good cry, listen to this song with them in mind. (I didn’t watch this music video, just listened to the lyrics.)

Mona reminded me that I meant to post this yesterday, but forgot. So I made the trek down to the Hollywood wig shop (if I have to get a wig, I ONLY go there because these little old Asian ladies are on top of their game!). I brought pictures of Katniss for them to use to style the wig. So they pick out the right wig and then start talking about how to style it. The one lady actually goes:

“Oh, this for you? Let’s see, you have small face so…oh! You have face like her’s (she points to the picture of Jennifer as Katniss). Wait, is this you?”

I was such a pile of goo, let me tell you. No, I am not the goddess known as Jennifer Lawrence, but thank you for making my day!

And in case you’re wondering what the first best compliment was, someone once thought I was Scarlett Johansson.

This is my non-con costume meaning I just did it for a photo shoot and potentially small cons around here, but if ever there was a costume MADE for SDCC and D*C, it’s this one! Let’s see, warm jacket with pockets, a whole backpack, flat and comfy boots, and comfy cotton clothing…why am I not doing this at a con?! LOL

On a side note…I really wish I had lips.
